Q.
What does “no viewing” mean?
   
A.
At the time of sale, the locker is opened and any viewing is done from the outside looking in. For safety reasons, the locker cannot be entered except by the buyer.
 
Q.
What are the conditions of sale?
   
A.
The Management shall not be responsible for any accidents occuring on the premises.
The highest biddder shall be the purchaser and the decision of the auctioneer relating to all matters is final.
All merchandise shall be paid for by cash or acceptable cheque.
All merchandise is subject to Retail Sales Tax unless exempt under The Retail Sales Tax Act.
All merchandise must be paid for on the date of the sale.
All sales are final and not subject to conditions. All merchandise is sold in and "As Is" condition without recourse to the vendor.
All contents of the storage unit must be completely removed within 48 hours of the saleand swept clean or special charges will apply.
All merchandise left on the premises after being purchased is left at the purchasers risk and the movement of any purchase is at the purchaser's risk.
All goods advertised or displayed are subject to withdrawl prior to sale within the discretion of the auctioneer.
The auctioneer may reject a bid at their discretion without reason or explanation.
Merchandise is subject to HST where applicable.
Any other conditions to be announced by the auctioneer.
 
Q.
Can I buy individual items from the storage locker?
   
A.
NO. The locker is sold as a complete unit.
 
Q.
What are my responsibilities after I buy a storage locker?
   
A.
The locker must be completley cleaned out and the floor swept within the time indicated, at the time of sale.
 
Q.
What is the meaning of “power point presentations” for remote locations.
   
A.
Where some sale units may be a distance away, photographs of the unit are shown during a regular storage tour, and are sold at that time.
 
Q.
How are storage units paid for?
   
A.
With the exception of one or two regular locations, the payment is made to the storage location where the sale is held. The vast majority of which accept major credit cards, debit and cash.
 
Q.
Do I have to reregister for each location on the storage tour?
   
A.
No. You register at the first location and this registration is good for all locations that day.
 
Q.
What about personal affects (photographs, tax records, identification etc.) found in the storage unit that I buy?
   
A.
In the interest of karma, simply place them in a box and drop them off at the sale location.

Where do you hold storage auctions in Ontario?
   
A.
Storage Locker Auctions are held across Ontario but our more popular auctions take place in London, St. Thomas, Ingersol, Woodstock, Simcoe, Oakville, Windsor and Sarnia with plans to expand into Chatham, Cambridge, Brantford, Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Hamilton and Tillsonburg.
